Casual
Skyfield Drift
★★★★☆ 4.1
Skyfield Drift is pure casual comfort food. You tap to keep a glider aloft, weaving through gaps between floating islands, trying to string together a long clean run. That's the whole game, and it's exactly enough.
What keeps it interesting is the rhythm. Late in a run the gaps tighten and you enter a kind of flow state where you're reacting on instinct. The generous checkpointing means failure never stings for long.
Ads pop up between runs, but there's a one-time option to remove them, which I'd recommend if it grabs you. It's a great filler game that never overstays its welcome in any single sitting.
What we liked
- Dead-simple one-tap controls
- Satisfying flow state on longer runs
- Perfect short-session filler
