Arcade games built for the two-minute window
Not every game respects the reality of mobile play. You get interrupted. You have thirty seconds waiting for a kettle to boil. A lot of games punish you for that with slow loads and unskippable intros.
The best arcade games treat time like a scarce resource. They load instantly, drop you straight into play, and let you leave without losing everything. Casinacho Games does this well, and so do most good endless-runner style games.
What I look for is the 'one more go' loop that resets in under three seconds. Death, tap, playing again. If there's a five-second interstitial ad between every attempt, the whole rhythm collapses and I uninstall.
Curate your home screen for these gaps. A couple of instant-on arcade games are more useful, day to day, than any sprawling epic you never quite have time to start.
